I have had back acne for as long as I can remember. Thanks a bunch for sharing this information. Like chest acne said, I never realized scrubbing my back was bad. I thought it got all of the dead skin off.

The step that really stands out for me is when you said to pat dry your back, not rub. I always rub my back like CRAZY with my towel because my back itches so bad. I’m sure, like you said that this is not helping me get rid of my zits.

Thanks Dave, Please check out my comment to " Chemist" regarding the use of 100% pure organic Argan Oil for treating Acne, also. i will be writing some more on Argan oil shortly as I always love to find natural solutions if possible.

Hi Chemist, with a name like Chemist maybe you should be advising me. However I appreciate your concern regarding chemical treatments. I would always suggest one of the best "organic" treatments used for centuries - Argan Oil. It has many beneficial properties (anti inflammatory included) and has been used for skin care for a very long time. There is not much mention of it in print and I always recommend the 100% organic (not a watered down version). One site that does sell it cheaply and I have verified the pureness is - http://arganoiltree.com/ .
By the way it is not my site however I have interviewed the owner (who is a trained beautician) on the benefits of Argan Oil and I was blown over at the end of the interview and promptly ordered several bottles.
However if it does not work for you, then at least you know that it will not harm you and you can always use the remaining oil as salad dressing (it has a nutty flavor)

I’m looking for an acne treatment that’s right for me. Proactiv does not work. I also read about some dangerous chemicals that Proactiv and other acne treatment systems contain. Can anyone give me more information??
